"Frogs, with their vibrant coloring and peculiar morphology, are a constant source of inspiration for me as an artist. Their shiny skin offers an exciting challenge when trying to capture the reflection of light on a watery body in paint. Furthermore, the The elongated shape of its mouth gives me the opportunity to create cartoonish representations, and create different characters, adding a unique touch to each work. My connection with frogs dates back to my childhood, when I had my first encounter with one of them at 14. years. I clearly remember the moment I saw it swimming in a pool in Brazil, on a trip we took with my family. Initially confused, I thought it was a mouse swimming at high speed, until it reached the edge of the pool and. It came out of the water in front of me. Its calm presence and funny face made me laugh, and felt relief when I saw those bulging eyes and that round, fat body. That unforgettable memory continues to fuel my passion for painting these fascinating animals."
